Specialist anti-corrosion, water-proofing and sealing products manufacturer Winn & Coales International Ltd were awarded The Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2010 and 2013.
Winning the award twice was the result of the combined efforts of the company’s UK based staff, subsidiary companies and global network of agents and distributors offering proven, cost-effective and long-term solutions for its customer’s corrosion and sealing related problems.
Winn & Coales International established in 1883 remains an independent company and celebrated its 125th Anniversary in 2008 and its 130th Anniversary in 2013. The company’s Denso anti-corrosion and sealing systems have been used to protect buried and sub-sea pipeline, exposed steelwork, jetty piles and storage tanks in corrosive environments worldwide for over 85 years. Denso Petrolatum Tape, Denso SeaShield, Denso Protal and Denso Steelcoat are some of the names associated with the Denso brand.
Apart from the Denso product range the company also manufactures several other renowned brands, all known for their quality and long service life.
Archco-Rigidon are a range of corrosion resistant glass flake reinforced linings for steel and concrete tanks, pipes, valves and bunded areas in the power generation, process and oil & gas industries. These linings are resistant to chemicals and acids and can be used on vessels operating at service temperatures up to 220°C.
Lastly, the company manufactures the Sylglas range of waterproofing, sealing and safety products which have been available to the UK DIY market for the last 50 years.
