Gilkes Pumping Systems design and manufacture cooling pumps for high horsepower diesel engines. This commitment as a significant local employer continues with a recent investment in a state of the art Research and Development Centre and additional office space funded through a successful Regional Growth Fund bid. The company also has Service Centres in Fort William and Invergordon and globally we have a manufacturing facility in Houston and international offices in Vancouver and Tokyo.
Gilkes’ heritage is built on innovation and quality and its Quality Management System is accredited by Lloyds to both ISO TS16949:2009 and ISO 9001:2008.
Gilkes Pumping Systems CEO, Andy Poole, reflected on winning the 2010 International Trade award: “Since winning the award in 2010 Gilkes has further invested in people, processes and technology and this, coupled with the global recognition of The Queen’s Awards logo, has allowed us to leverage our value proposition to both UK and international customers.”
