Award-winning international fit-out specialists, BECK MBI, has won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade, 2018.
Based in Surrey, the company has been recognised in the highest order due to its exemplary international trading, showcasing UK craftsmanship at its best.
BECK’s fit out expertise can be witnessed worldwide in the hotel, museum, retail, leisure and residential sectors and their valued clients include the ‘who’s who’ of luxury.

The museum sector is an ever-growing area for BECK, having delivered multiple galleries at the V&A Museum, Natural History and Science Museums and the National Museum of Scotland.
BECK has recently received global recognition for its international work, the latest project being the Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre (SAASCC) in Kuwait. This centre comprises of four museums: Natural History, Science, Space and Islamic Museums and was the largest cultural and science project in the world.
BECK has offices worldwide, including the US, Asia and the Middle East and works with the world’s leading architects and designers.
In 2019, BECK will be celebrating its 25th anniversary and is looking forward to new projects and international opportunities. The company will continue to focus on delivering quality every time.
Homegrown talent starts at BECK, with its traditional apprenticeship scheme that has remained in place for decades. Group director Mark Banham is living proof of this, having worked his way up the ranks from starting in the joinery workshop more than 25 years ago. Many of the young apprentices over the years are still employed by BECK today.
