Aerospares 2000 is a proud recipient of the Queen’s Award for International Trade this year. This accolade is in recognition of the company’s outstanding growth in overseas sales which accounts for over 82% of its £18.5m annual turnover.
The Watford-based company, established at the turn of the millennium, is a specialist stockist and supplier of the most sought-after and hard-to-find spare parts for the latest generation of aircraft. Aerospares 2000 has built a reputation across the industry for providing a responsive and dependable 24/7 service so that, day or night, its highly-skilled team can immediately respond and dispatch components in order to resolve AOG (Aircraft on Ground) emergencies. The company’s key customers include major global airlines, cargo operators, aircraft leasing companies and aircraft maintenance providers.
Benyamin Nemenyi, Chairman of Aerospares 2000, said: “A grounded aircraft represents a significant financial loss to an operator for each day that it cannot fly. At that critical moment, it is essential for the aircraft operator to work with a supplier who can promptly and reliably supply the replacement spare part in order to get their aircraft back in the air and generating revenue once again. Aircraft operators the world over have entrusted and grown accustomed to our responsive and dependable service to help keep their fleet of aircraft flying, with the minimum down-time possible.”
Aerospares 200 Managing Director, Adam Nemenyi said: “Receiving the Queen’s Award is testament to the company’s long-term customer-focused strategy. The significant growth we have seen over the last three years would not have been possible without the skill, dedication and hard work of all of our staff and this award recognises the efforts of each and every member of the Aerospares 2000 team.”
